I can get the files just fine using wget http://myip:port/filename. But, accessing remote files on my local pc doesn't really seem to be working for me. Can you please let me know how to best access the remote files?

I'm sorry but I don't really understand what you are asking.

It sounds like you're describing a scenario where updog is run on a remote system and you are trying to access it from your local PC and cannot.

If this is the case, are you sure the proper ports are forwarded to allow access to it? Can you provide more details?

I didn't fully understand the tool before I started playing with it. I was attempting to scp a file from a remote connection, and ran into issues. I don't know if this functionality exists, and there was something blocking it from the remote device, or if this is a feature that doesn't exist quite yet.
