I found the following in the latex files of the SBML specification docs. They still need to be redirected or equivalent pages need to be created on sbml.org.

The following URLs were never meant to be real; they're actually URIs. I'm not sure why they ended up in the list above.

Decision: don't create redirections.

I don't think it's worth trying to recreate the sbml.org/image/... URLs. It's unfortunate those specific URLs leaked out from the old MediaWiki site, but hopefully there are other links to the same content.

I agree, don't do too many redirections. The most important things have to work.

I suggest to create a proper 404 page ;). I.e. currently we get just the following uninviting error:

https://sbml.org/specifications/sbml-level-%5Csbmllevel/version-%5Csbmlversionnum/schemas/
404 page not found

If we create a nicer 404 with a sentence "Please use the site search to find what you are looking for or open an issue."
