Take the basic auth string (the bit after Basic) from https://github.com/sarahveness/newsletter-signup/blob/master/app.js#L33 and feed it into a base64 decoder (ex https://www.base64decode.org/)

Also, https://rtyley.github.io/bfg-repo-cleaner/ is good for when you need to remove those kind of things from ever existing in history (but not google cache :( )
