Dear Circlator Team, thanks for this great tool. I have one question: I am using Circlator to circularise mitochondrial assemblies, so far so good. I then want to set the start, which I can do with the fix start option.
However, while the first genes in mitochondria in insects are, depending which way one reads, the 12sRNA, or the Cyt b, the real origin should be the control region, which sits between these two genes.
Is there a way to tell Circlator to find this control region, and use its centre as the origin point for the linear form of the circular genome?
Thanks for any help, which would be much appreciated!
