Where did the "don't use homebrew" advice go?

I'm trying to answer an issue and I think homebrew R may be part of the problem. I feel like historically I've linked to a longer explanation of the problem here and I can even still see a mention of homebrew in a .qmd file here. But did that somehow get dropped from the rendered content?
