ddcutil 2.1.4 is now available as branch 2.1.4-release and as tag v2.1.4.
This release makes a single change to the libddcutil API, restoring function ddca_create_display_ref() as an alternative name for ddca_get_display_ref(). The function had been deprecated for some time and was removed in ddcutil 2.0.0. Unfortunately, its use has persisted in the Debian code base. It has been restored to ease Debian migration to ddcutil 2.x.

The development branch is now 2.1.5-dev.
