A little list of issues I intend to take care of:

  • Provide more time-resilient dependencies in the .yml file, in particular by specifying the branch of pybob (see pybob version in .yml file should be updated #5),
  • Update README examples with SEDOO filenames,
  • Simplify examples on .CSV files for basic operations,
  • Update TBC data for on-demand request with guidelines,
  • Provide the rgi_naming... TXT file with RGI coding of updated inventory,
  • Add script to integrate glacier volume and mass change from the TIF files.

I will be off for a while in the next month, so the timeline for this is probably around autumn/winter.

Hello, why is the link for TBC is invalid?

Hi @StrangeFrog, TBC means "To Be Communicated". I have updated it by "only available on demand", because these data are too large to distributed by our institutions.

Thank you for your reply. However, I am still very confused how I can download data 3 and 4? Do I need to send an email to a specific email address? If so, what is that email address?

@StrangeFrog The added note in the README should make it clear that it is me you need to contact, and is also a good reminder that this data is very difficult to use:

Important note for data only available on-demand (3. and 4.): This data is very large (several TBs) and, in the case of ASTER DEMs, unfiltered (for artefacts, clouds, etc). It is very difficult to use. If that is nonetheless needed, contact me with latitude-longitude coordinates of your area of interest, and a description of your intended use.
