Changing Quick-Copy Style?

I'm trying to use this plugin for Obsidian.md:

I'm trying to get it to output in-text citation with the MLA (9th) style, and I think it needs the Quick-Copy function to work, as changing that, changes the plugin's output. However, I can't figure out how to change the Quick-Copy style to one that outputs MLA, i.e. simply (Author page-number).

Is this possible? Or am I misunderstanding the purpose of Quick-Copy?

I think this was just awkward to set up, I'll get something better over the weekend.
