I would like to use renovate to update itself. For that, I added the repository where my Helm chart lives in and let it run.
The onboarding PR was created and all the package files where detected, except for the ones of renovate ...
The Helm chart itself sits in a directory called "renovate", might that be an issue? Do I explicitly have to add the renovate chart?
My config is relatively basic, no custom rules, just the recommended settings:

I tried to search for the issue but it's hard to look for "renovate update renovate" or "renovate update yourself" ...
However, I found this old issue: renovatebot/config-help#277
This seems to be rather old and I think is outdated. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Renovate should update any chart it finds which has image versions inside. Please create a reproduction of you can't figure it out

I think I found the issue ... the (newly added) renovate folder is on the remote but not merged to master yet.
Sorry, error on layer 8 ... 🤦🏼‍♀️
