Renderhive Service App – Task Overview

The following sub-tasks are part of the Renderhive Service App development which are due according to the official work plan:

Milestone 1

Back end:

• Implement basic rendering functionality via Blender #2
• Implement local IPFS node #3
• Implement internal render job management #4
• Implement communication with web3.storage / w3up #5

Milestone 2

Back end:

• Implement communication with the smart contract #6
• Add automatic pinning and unpinning of render offers, render requests, and render results on IPFS/Filecoin #7

Milestone 3

Back end:

• Implement the decentralized render job distribution algorithm based on IPFS/Filecoin & Hedera #8
• Implement render result verification mechanisms #9
• Add capabilities to locally serve a browser-based UI as front end #10

Front end:

• Create basic web-based front end #13
• Add node / account registration form #14
• Add node / account configuration form #15

Milestone 4

Back end:

• Optimize the render job distribution algorithm #11
• Optimize the rendering process #12

Front end:

• Add render job submission form #16
• Add render job management form and job status page #17
• Add render result verification form #18
