Adding different icons to AwesomeButtonSocial

I've been looking through the icons.js file in the react-awesome-button/src/components/AwesomeButtonSocial folder in an attempt to change some of the social media icons. It seems each icon image is encoded within this file, represented by some sort of string. For example:

I was wondering what this alpha numeric string represents, what sort of encoding this may be, and how can I encode my own icons to add to my buttons in my project. Thank you.
