yFinance running really slow on Raspberry Pi

I have a small app that calls yFinance to get data for some symbols sequentially, using a simple call:

stockData = yf.Ticker(stock)

This works well on MacOS, but when calling this on Debian (12.5) running on a RPi 4 - there is an insane delay before the first call returns (>60s)

Has anyone experienced this or have a solution?

Managed to solve this after profiling my script. It was stalling on the first connection attempt to call yahoo - disabling IPv6 solved the issue.
