Infinite scrolling in Google Sheets

Description
When in Google Sheets, scrolling with touchpad and not removing the fingers seems to scroll forever. It only stops after I lift my fingers.
The expected result should be for scrolling to stop as soon as I stop my fingers in the touchpad even though I'm still touching it.
I tested with Firefox and Google Chrome and both worked as expected.

How to reproduce
Website where issue happens: https://www.google.com/sheets/about/

1. Go into a sheet in Google Sheets.
2. Scroll using touchpad and don't lift your fingers.
