**Update: I've updated this issue after some further investigation

Version info:
qutebrowser v3.1.0
Git commit:
Backend: QtWebEngine 6.7, based on Chromium 118.0.5993.220 (from api)
Qt: 6.7.0

Does the bug happen if you start with --temp-basedir?:
yes

Description

I've already bumped into #3043, #6131, etc, but maybe this one is a little different.

Although I am still able to authenticate using yubikey's FIDO on web sites that I had previously registered the device (i.e. github, protonmail, etc), when registering a new one it just won't work (even on the mentioned web sites).

I guess this is related to QT's upgrade to v6.7, since qutebrowser's flatpak version does not have this issue.

How to reproduce

  1. Go to github and register a new security device
  2. yubikey will not flash to complete the registration
