Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not related to a problem, but to a discrepancy in the naming.
The menu is called "Training images" but they involve Region* annotations. And the create training image creates an image called "sparse image". I am looking for a way to harmonize the keywords used.
Describe the solution you'd like
Two options I could imagine
A. Keep" sparse"
Rename the command to "Create sparse image" or "Create sparse image for classifier training"
Think of calling Region* annotations Training* annotations?
Verbally speaking, saying that "I create Training* annotations to create a sparse image in order to train a classifier" makes more sense than
"I create Regions* to produce a training image called sparse image to train a classifier"
B. Skip the term "sparse"
Rename the "sparse image" "training image"
Perhaps think of calling Region* annotations Training* annotations?
Here there is only one concept "Train": "We create Training* annotations to create a training image to train a classifier"
#Additional context
I do not use "Create duplicate channel training images" so I am not sure how this realtes to that command.
Something to think about that came up when making a short practical course of training classifiers
