qtile in wayland how do I get the current keyboard layout?

Wayland how do I get the current keyboard layout? I want to write a simple widget to display the current layout, since the Keyboard Layout widget can't just get the current layout and I couldn't do it through python-xkbcommon, tell me how you can get the current keyboard layout on wayland.
