Is it possible to chain sequential calls to different "shortcut functions" in one mapping?

As far as I can see, there is no straightforward way to do this. Feedkeys seems to be very finicky if I want to use the default function of a given key in the combo.. Are there any robust workaround, or would this be hard to implement?
