When we try to update Nuget package from 6.0.0 to 8.0.0 the metrics endpoint goes down for the target.
strangely it's working fine with version 7.0.0
Project Type: netstandard2.0

According to release notes 8.0.0 supports netstandard2.0

We are facing issue only in Windows Os and its working fine in Linux env
