In Portfolio Performance there is a "Event" feature that draw a line in the asset graphics.
But this feature is related to the single asset.
It would be nice a "Global event" feature for visualizing the event in all the graphics (included the reports section).

+1, I had the same idea. It would be nice to record dates of FOMC meeting dates, dates of flash crashes (2008, covid, etc.), and be consistently displayed on any price chart (of course, should be easy to turn off/on display of these global events separately from per-instrument events). There's "Calendars" feature, but it doesn't seem to have much in common with the desired behavior - Calendar's dates aren't displayed on charts, nor there seem to be a way to add custom dates to a Calendar.

The available calendar functionality is might misleading, because the purpose is to evaluate if the available or even missing quotes at a date is valid due to assigned stock exchange calendar. Their is a feature per security chart.

Just because in #3099 I was talking about "local and global" events. Local is yet implemented. I thought having a new more specific issue is better for the project coordination.

Then in my opinion a short comment in #3099 with the reason for closing the #3099 would be helpful.

Agreed. Done.
