Issue Overview

Feature request: As a multi-select autocomplete field set to display WooCommerce SKU, I would like it to accept an import of SKUs separated by comma so that it mimics the feature of the WooCommerce Upsell field.

Expected Behavior

Using WP All Import, I can import a list of SKUs into the Upsell field in Woocommerce, and it translates those to the appropriate product.

Current Behavior

Currently, the multi-select autocomplete field does not accept multiple values via import. The field remains blank after import.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

This is not a bug, but a feature request.

Possible Solution

Consider adding the same capability as found on the WooCommerce Upsell and Related Product fields, so bulk import is possible into a multi-select field.

hi, well that's more a question for WP All Import - as this might need some php to process it did contact their support?

Hi, no, @jimtrue is familiar with this issue and sent some helpful information on how this could be custom developed. See https://podswp.slack.com/archives/C02SVLHQF/p1551481139173200?thread_ts=1550437489.481100&cid=C02SVLHQF It's not a WP All Import issue. The field type would need to change. We may indeed need to custom develop this, and will be looking at how best to do it. If we can contribute any code back to the Pods project, we will.
