Hi ,guys:
This plugin is really awsome, Can somebody improve it and act like source insight? It means that definition and reference are displayed in realtime.
Thank you again.

Hi @lanmanck ,

You mean to open a side editor pane when you want to see the definition?
It is possible, yes. But sometimes there are more than one definitions (the plugin currently doesn't track namespaces). I can't really remember well how it was done in Source Insight.

Hi,pnedev:
I use this plug-in for a while, I recommend those features can be updated:
1、definition is displayed immediately in current cursor :

2、search result is unfolded, so we can see where they are clearly.

3、can see the reference map in realtime (this feature may be hard):

Hi @lanmanck ,

Your suggestions sound good but I don't know when I'll have time to work on enhancing the plugin again. It is working OK for me as it is.

About point 1 - Global GTAGS doesn't account for namespaces so there might be several found definitions from different namespaces. Maybe if there is only one definition it might be displayed directly.

About point 2 - You can expand all results if you double click with the mouse the very first line or click its margin part once or simply press 'ALT +' key combination. 'ALT -' colapses all results.

Thanks for the feedback,
BR
