[PITCH] Classify Arctic Streams

This would be my first hackathon, so I am pretty new to this!

What would a hack team for this project work towards in 2 days?
Creating water/non-water mask for Arctic streams based on Planet imagery, and potentially doing image classification on beaded streams

How would this project use Planet's data & platform?

What obstacles or blockers do you think this project might run into?
Stream network limitations (too coarse to find all the streams)

And finally... pitch your idea: why should people hack on THIS project in particular?
They are also interested in classifying water/ curious about satellite imagery and hydrology?

Living in the Arctic, I'd like to contribute to this project! There has been few reliable hydrology data out there it'd be great to create one
