This should probably be a different data format than nodes or links.

  • center latlong
  • radius in meters (I think)
  • start bearing and end bearing, in degrees

Two libraries:

  1. https://github.com/kluizeberg/Leaflet.Circle-sector, demo: https://kluizeberg.github.io/Leaflet.Circle-sector/demo.html
  2. https://github.com/jjwtay/leaflet.sector, demo: https://jjwtay.github.io/leaflet.sector/

The second one was written more recently.

Neither seems to support gradients in the fill, though. However, there might be a way to use SVG mode to pull it off: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28874635/gradient-fill-for-circle-in-leaflet

@Protagonistics Do you have the data to back this feature? I'm thinking about taking a swing at it before the end of the month.

How much Pittmesh.net downtime do we want to tolerate before we stand it up temporarily somewhere else, e.g. Github Pages?
