Face detection not being applied to all photos?

I've left Photonix with my library of a couple hundred photos for several days but face detection appears hit and miss, it seems to apply object detection to every photo but face detection almost seems like it never finishes, tons of photos with a face front and center don't have any face detection applied.

Is there a way to manually kick off face detection so I can watch the logs closer for hints?

Just bumping this to see if anyone else has this issue? I can't really go all in with the app yet until I can figure out face detection :(
