Hi, I noticed that my benchmarks records only total memory size, while others' on openbenchmark shows DIMM information.
A quick test proves that the detailed information is only available when running PTS as root.
Here is the part of the output when running phoronix-test-suite system-info without root:
MEMORY: 60GB
And with root:
MEMORY: 4 x 16 GB DDR5-3600MT/s F5-6000J3636F16G
I also started to wonder if there are other information missing because of the permission.
It's definitely good to be able to run tests without root. But I'm wondering if PTS can require the root permission dynamically (by issuing a sudo command, for example) to make sure the report is complete.
