[PROBLEM] The System Could Not Be Associated With The Account

I installed the lastest 10.8.2 also tried 10.2.0 but when running
phoronix-test-suite openbenchmarking-setup
i get the following error
[PROBLEM] The System Could Not Be Associated With The Account
If i put in the wrong username or password I get told it can't find the account.

I have managed to link my laptop and the account in question so i know the password/account is ok.

Now here is the fun bit, its on a proxmox 7.x install (debian bullseye)

I have this same issue on 10.8.0 & 10.8.4 in windows but it's working fine in mint 20.3

Also the password in windows prints in plain text which is censored in linux, assume not related, but...
