As the title says recieving of sms is not working with any GSI Treble Image Android 13. For some reasons it is working with project elixir GSI Image in combination with some other help:
I used like 10 different GSI Images and tried to get it working via the IMS feature section of the PHH Treble Settings. And it never worked doe. Sometimes there was a rar change after flashing any gsi and then when running the setup and enter the pin to my sim that I recieved the sms before some hours which were in the waiting line. But this happens very rar..
Then after using project elixir it starts working.. Also when you start flashing a new GSI ROM then and do everything under IMS Feature in PHH treble settings then it also worked. Can not verify this to 100% because I only did this 1 time. However, then after four other GSI ROMs it suddenly stopped working again. Then I installed again the project elixir rom and it starts working again.
I mean that recieving of sms is not working is nothing new I guess because otherwhise there would be no IMS feature settings in the phh treble settings since years. However, this feature is really mandatory for 2FA and it is very frustrating to not be able to use it on any GSI. Not sure what the guys from project elixir are doing under the hood but I guess they are doing something that will fix this never ending story bug. Maybe you can connect with the devs from this ROM? I have 0% experience with developing of this ROMs so I would ask by myself and make a issue there but this does not make any sense because I would understand literally nothing if they talk with me about it.
