It's definitely possible to respect the tablespace, I'll throw up a feature request for this. Thanks for reporting! |

First I would like to say this is a great project! I'm getting amazing query speeds and low storage usage when comparing to the same data in a compressed Timescale hypertable. Looking forward to the parquet and normal table JOIN support.
Currently pg_analytics creates a
deltalake
directory in the default postgres directory and stores all data in this directory. In my case the default directory is a folder on a HDD but I want to store the data on a mounted SSD, for normal postgres tables I use tablespaces to manage the locations but the tablespace is not respected when creating a table withusing parquet
Is it possible to make pg_analytics respect the given tablespace or atleast make the root directory configurable? I'm currently working around it by creating a symbolic link in a docker-entrypoint script.
