(Movies) ThemovieDB agent no compatible with SubZero? #763

Hi,

Just a weird issue on my estate here (Plex + GDrive crypt setup).

For some unidentified reason, my Movie library suddenly dissappeared from SZ's radar (TV shows was still in) when I recently added in new libraries (eLearning and Docs). Went to change the main agent for Movies (initially Plex Legacy) to ThemovieDB. Suddenly, Movies lib was now available on SZ but searching and adding subs didn't work (SZ would tell subs were properly downloaded) as they wouldn't appear in the subs list on Plex.

  • Double checked that SZ agent was ticked and on top of agents lists on both
  • Double checked that metadata storage was activated

Switched back again to Plex Legacy agent for Movies lib... now I see the subs but all doubled (2x times FR ext, 2x times ENG ext instead of one each normaly).

Anyone having a reasonnable explanation of this please? and how I can rearrange things properly?
Does that mean that if I update the lib to the newest Plex agent, SZ won't work correctly?

Thanks in advance for your support, and once again a massive thank to the creator of that very useful plugin.
V

Did you try refreshing the full metadata of the library in question after changing the metadata agent?

That should resolve any duplicate subtitle issues. You can verify by refreshing a single item's metadata and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks @pannal , I did try individual metadata refresh on one movie, doesn't work. I still see the subs duplicates.
I'm unusure of doing a massive meta refresh on my library at this stage, as I use a gdrive for storage through rclone. If I hit the daily quotas for requests, it may temporarily affect my account.

And I do have the option "Don't search for subtitles if a subtitle in any configured language exists as" set to "embbeded or external". But still the duplicates seem to come from SZ (SRT External)

Any idea please?
If I updrade to Plex lastest agent, or TMDB, is SZ compabible or can only work with Plex legacy? (which is kinda depleted now)

It should work with TMDB, it won't work with the new Plex agents as they don't call Python anymore.

Can you shed some light on your setup? How does a normal movie folder look like and can you screenshot your SZ config screen?

Also please supply the subzero log at least a minute after you've refreshed a single item.
