I've been searching around for some off-the-shelf functionality that could be incorporated here in xsd. I thought it would be useful to start cataloging specific packages to help guide the implementation of new downscaling methods here.

  1. scikit-learn lists a bunch of related projects: https://scikit-learn.org/stable/related_projects.html
  2. mlinsights includes a few regressors that may interest us (e.g. QuantileLinearRegression, and PiecewiseRegressor : http://www.xavierdupre.fr/app/mlinsights/helpsphinx/index.html#
