Can access settings and scan for music when connected to the localhost, cannot get it through the webhost.

Thanks for the report. The HTTP code 401 means "Unauthorized". Can you browse and download your files on the external storage without any issues using the Files view of Nextcloud? What type of external storage do you use? Is there any additional details in the nextcloud.log file?

Yes, I can browse, download and play the files in the files view of Nextcloud. My external storage is a 4tb 2.5" portable Western Digital.

The only log error occurring while I was configuring was

Error

It is possible there's an https/http conflict through cloudflare.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with cloudflare. What is its role on your setup?
