there is only one default layout and it shows a mesh. not possible to change it to more aligned and linear layouts.

ideally what I am looking for is this :
I know this is too much to ask for but any of these feature addition would be tremendously helpful in increasing the desirability and attractiveness of OrientDB

Visualization features -

Align nodes by-

  • align nodes in various shapes with customizable "inter-node" distance so that the output can be decluttered and made to look more appealing.
  • align in a linear chain or fishbone etc shapes to better show traversal related queries. currently traversed nodes are all tangled up and not able to see sequence of node traversal clearly.

Arrange & Sort nodes by-

  • sort nodes by a specific value (date, integer, alphabetically etc)
  • sort by network properties (no. of connections in or out etc)

Performance features -

  • ability to use WebGL to render using powerful hardware GPUs
