No 'cut' options on popup when selecting text in the 'Title' edit control #1046

  • I have searched for existing issues that may be the same as or related to mine.

To reproduce: tap on an already exisiting / titled note to start editing it. If you tap on the text in the 'Title' edit box, the keyboard will be shown and now the popup on selecting text will include a 'Cut' option.

However, if you start by long-pressing on the text in the 'Title' edit box to select a word, the keyboard is not shown and there is no 'cut' option in the text selection popup. So you can now neither cut nor delete the selected text. You have to tap and thus lose the selection to get bring up the keyboard, then select the text again to have the option.

Hello,
orgzly is really great software, but this is also annoying me when using e.g. 'share' from within a browser page with selected text.

This text then appears fully wiithin the title. While I usually want to move this text to bottom into the contents area, as the selected text in the title has only 'copy' and no 'cut' option and back delete key is not working, too: I always have to manually delete every single letter ...
