I like this, and really appreciate your efforts to keep it accurate. Now all I need to do is try to understand asyncio Any chance that it could be extended to return twilight times? Civil twilight is when the sun is 6° below the horizon, and is useful for automatic lighting. |

This module is a port of some C code from a textbook, with adaptation for global use. It enables an application to determine the times of rise and set events in a given day. It can be configured for any location on the globe. It can be used alone, or as part of the schedule module. Using
schedule
allows you to set up commands like "turn on the lights at one hour after sunset, but only in the winter months". Or whatever.Another possible application is in clocks such as the one below. I built this before MicroPython was written, but it could easily be done in MP.
