During openblock-rural sprint, we attempted to load a "city limits" shapefile that has several cities with several polygons each:
http://www.columbusco.org/GISData/City.zip

This triggers an exception:

For our purposes it would probably make sense to merge the same-name polygons into one multipolygon.

I wonder if these polygons are not versions of a single polygon that's changed over time. I'll call the folks in Columbus County and find out.

I doubt it, they don't overlap.
