What are the differences between pyocr, pytesseract, tesserocr?
It seems like tesserocr got better supports than pyocr and pytesseract?

Excluding common Git history:

  • Pyocr: first release ~= 2012
  • Pytesseract: first commit ~= 2014
  • Tesserocr: first commit ~= 2015

^ I would suggest you ask them instead of me, because I have no idea why they started their own module.

Also, what do you mean by "better supports" ?

@jflesch when I use tesserocr, I feel tesserocr is more oriented towards the original tesseract. On the other hand, pyocr is intuitive, however not as flexibel compare to tesseract.
