Findings on the data migration from edX to open edX

Android:

• On upgrading from edX to open edX (New App) the user gets logged out
• On upgrading all the downloaded videos get deleted
• On upgrading the app the Calendar is not synced with the course dates
• Calendar Sync: When a user enables the calendar sync toggle then 2 events are created for the same course in the device’s calendar
• On upgrading the app the IAP, upgrade content is not yet available

iOS:

• On upgrading from edX to open edX (New App) the user gets logged out

• On upgrading the app the Calendar is not synced with the course dates
• Calendar Sync: When a user enables the calendar sync toggle then there are no duplicate events created
• On upgrading the app the IAP, upgrade content is not yet available

Which of these items are important to address / merge into the platform and which of these might be data policy / continuity issues for edx-app-ios to openedx-app-ios users only? I can raise this as a question during our next regular check-in but I'm curious in the meantime if there are possible solutions / improvements to these items that require a contribution / merge?
