I haven't heard this error before, so I don't think it's a general issue with M1/ M2 OSX. (In fact, the Mac OS package is built on an M1 system by @robbertmijn.)

Maybe you can indeed try to reinstall it as the error suggests (just in case, I suspect it won't change anything), and if this doesn't work, try to install through Anaconda as described here:

Hmmm, I just follow this tutorial, and run them step by step.....
