The webserver happens to crash alot of times when I reload the browser when developing on a project.

Then it shuts down the server and I have to start it again.

There is a known threading issue on Ruby 1.9.2 that we hope get solved in upcoming 1.9.2 release.

Will leave this open for you to track it.

I have this problem in 1.9.2p290 , it randomly crush on page refresh and sometime just crush on its own ; it is not repeatable in a QA repeat steps I can do i.e. I can't find a pattern that crush it, it just does it when it wants to.

environment:

windows 7
Rails 3.1.1
WEBrick 1.3.1
ruby 1.9.2 (2011-07-09) [i386-mingw32]

I was having exactly the same problem as asarig, also 1.9.2p290 version on windows7, rails 3.1.1, etc. Upgraded to 1.9.3p0 about 5 minutes ago, and this version seems a lot more stable at first sight
