Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]

Currently the binary sensor is used to "help" detect power status. It is not possible to set it as the sole sole indicator to detect power status.

I'm using the ping integration and it seems to be more accurate at detecting on and off than the integration ping likely because of the interval potentially. Whenever the integration sees the TV as off momentarily the ping sensor never shows as off. If the ping sensor alone was used I likely wouldn't have any blips.

Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

The ability to set a binary sensor to be used completely to detect power status rather than helping.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

Additional context
Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.
