If the TV is connected to an external Samsung soundbar via eArc, you'll have more options to choose from under "Sound Output":

  1. TV Speaker
  2. Soundbar xxx (HDMI-eArc) – This option provides four sound modes: Standard, Surround, Game, and Adaptive Sound.
  3. TV + Soundbar xxx (HDMI-eArc) – This option offers only two sound modes: Game and Adaptive Sound.
  4. Receiver (Optical).

If the sound output is set to TV Speaker, you'll need the Samsung remote to change the sound output to something else.
Additionally, the "sound output" state is missing in the attributes, making it impossible to check its state.
This missing feature limits your ability to create automations, especially when using platforms like Node-RED.
