Generate Url Rewrites for Child products of configurable products "not visible individually"

There is a code for simple product urls associated with configurable products that have the state "Do not show individually" to redirect to the parent product.
Magento 2 does not regenerate the urls of these products.

Would it be possible to add an option that will regenerate the urls of single products with the "not individually visible" option?
