Problem description

Right now, if you need to edit the metadata of your file, you have to click on the file (left menu) and then the metadata panel pops up:

Steps to reproduce it

  • Open the Open Data Editor.
  • Go to ADD
  • Upload a local csv file
  • Select the file (click on it)

Suggested solution

Double click on the name of the file, then the metadata panel pops up

More improvements

  • Discuss relevance of the Help panel with @pdelboca
  • Discussion: Would it be ok to display the metadata panel in the upper area of the table space and not show the table?

One more comment: the metadata button at the top of the table is OK. We will give the user two different ways to explore/edit it.
