Brown triangle map icon not prominent enough

Blue cluster circles are very visible on the map, while the brown triangle icons (▲) for the actual event locations... these do not stand out at all. I was zooming in and out puzzling over the map for quite some time before I noticed them!

I think you should make the triangles twice the size and a brighter a colour (same blue perhaps)

hmm. Now they're small brown circles. I think that's less prominent

Agree with @harry-wood -- why not use the same blue for individual points?

Also you could choose a different base map style that allows these points to step out more?

Also, you may want to update to mapbox-gl.js v0.44.0 (just change the reference in the header). Will help with the flicker issues.

@mikelmaron I tried to change the icon for a custom icon following these instructions but I couldn't because of how we generate the layer from the geoJSON.
Also tried to update to mapbox-gl.js v0.44.0 but the clustering function stopped working. Would need a full revamp in case we decide to upgrade.

@harry-wood @mikelmaron trying a new map style. Points aren't prominent enough but at least contrast a little more. What do you think?

@tlacoyodefrijol big improvement! I'd only suggest going with the same blue for individual dots, might stand out a bit more.

Also what does the red signify?

@mikelmaron I'll keep trying to change the color.

The colors change as the cluster has a bigger number of events in it. So the red means that cluster now has 10 or more events.
