Full text is scrambled over multi-columns on pages like this:

For example, on 1974/63, Page 8, the column spacing is 16 pixels (4.3 mm) with a 1-2 Pixel black to grey vertical line between through the A and B columns (column line). The text flows from Page 1, left (A) to right (B) columns, to Page 2, left (A) to right (B) columns.
The start of the columns seems mostly characterized by a 10 mm spacing and the column line.
This characterization might be true for Publications from 1949 to 1979/24.
From 1979/25, the only difference seems to be that the column line disappears and the column space grows a bit.
