Background Timer not working in React-Native 0.65.1

It's working fine in the former version of react-native but in the latest version Background Timer is not working.

please provide some more info. OS? What does it mean not working? does it work with 0.65.0?

I am having the same issue under 0.65.0. was only able to test android until now. It seems like the starting of the timer works but not the stopping. In my case I had some logic that would start/stop when switching between foreground and background and with the RN update I would end up having multiple background timers. Tested with version 2.4.1

I think for me on 0.66.3 stopping worked. should be related to #310 then
