Sitemaps issue with multisite #388

When adding Additional Sitemap URLs to our multi-site setup we get a new sitemap added to the primary sites sitemap. The additional sitemap also appears correctly on the site we added it to. How can we isolate these additions so they only show up on the site we apply them to and not the primary site sitemap?
