Session expiring after short period with plugin enabled

Using the latest version from this repo (1.0.22) with Craft 2.7.0. I understand that you're no longer supporting this build of the plugin but wondered if you could shed any light on what might be happening here.

I'm using redis to handle php sessions as per your fantastic 'Case of the missing php session' article.

With retour enabled and a few redirects set up (I can provide more detail if you think it'll help debug), users of the admin panel are being signed out after as little as 5 minutes has passed. The dashboard displays the "Your session has ended" message.

Do you have any ideas as to how retour might be conflicting with Craft sessions?

Did you ever sort this out? I know it sounds stupid, but have you turned re-tour off and seen if the behaviour is still the same? I wouldn't have thought that the plugin would do this, it sounds more like a Craft setting, but I could be completelty wrong.

I disabled it and the issue was no longer present, hence why I was pretty sure it was Retour that was causing it. Haven't tried again since, and currently migrating the site over to Craft 3.. which should sort it hopefully.
