How is the data for /overview generated? is there / can there be some json etc of what ranges each font supports? need that for something

I'll fix the first one; we changed our proof generation tool but not the index links for it.

The data for overview is generated by scripts in https://github.com/notofonts/overview (gather-codepoint-data.py) and the data files are also stored there.
