PHP Monitor on older versions of macOS / Mac OS X

Hi!

This is great App for my PHP Application Development.

I just want to asking, which version i'll be used for Mac OS X version?

Because My Mac version is 10.15

Hi @mrrfly!

Please see the legacy versions section for more information about legacy builds for older macOS versions.

Now... a word of warning. Older versions are not supported, and if your version of macOS is too old, you may not be able to get Homebrew working. Homebrew generally only supports the latest 2 stable versions of macOS, and I have the same policy for PHP Monitor, since PHP Monitor depends on Homebrew.

This means that if you manage to get it up and running I will not be able to provide help since you are on a version of macOS that I can no longer actively support.

If possible, you'll want to upgrade to the latest version of macOS.

1. If you have a modern Mac, you should be able to upgrade via a system update to either Monterey or Ventura.

2. If you have older Mac hardware you might be able to install a more recent version of macOS by using the OpenCore Legacy Patcher. For a list of supported Mac models, please see this link. I cannot and will not provide instructions on how to do this here, but I recommend looking into this (there are good tutorials on YouTube). Doing this allows you to run the latest macOS on hardware that Apple no longer officially supports. This is usually good news if you cannot afford newer hardware. Not everyone has the money to upgrade...

If upgrading is not possible, you can try this legacy version of PHP Monitor: https://github.com/nicoverbruggen/phpmon/releases/tag/v4.0

Again, you'll probably want to look into making sure you are running macOS 11 or 12, either officially or via the workaround with OpenCore Legacy Patcher, as older versions of PHP Monitor and Homebrew are very likely broken at this point.
